A message from AIDT

To combat the spread of the COVID-19 Virus, AIDT, in accordance with direction from Governor Kay Ivey, Secretary of Commerce Greg Canfield, the Alabama Department of Public Health and the Centers for Disease Control, are enacting an emergency operations plan. This plan will go into effect at 5PM Monday, March 16th and will end at 7am Monday, April 6th.

AIDT will remain open for business with essential staff working remotely during these three weeks.  We will have limited staff at all AIDT facilities, although these facilities will be closed to the public.

Trainees scheduled for classes that have been canceled will be notified via email and phone. If you have not received a notification that a class has been canceled, then the class is still planning to meet.

If you are sick or are showing any signs of the symptoms of COVID-19 virus, you will not be admitted to any class.  If you do not feel comfortable attending a class that you are scheduled for, please send an email to This email address is being protected from spambots.
