Skills Training for the Masses

The Montgomery Regional Workforce Training Center has training opportunities for Alabama Citizens in Montgomery and surrounding areas.  These individuals can register for MRWTC classes by accessing the MRWTC page on the AIDT Careers Site.

Training offered at the MRWTC are at no cost to the student. Programs consist of several weeks of training, courses could be one or two days.

Available Programs

Basic Machining Program

This course includes both the core and fundamentals of machining.

CompTIA ITF+ Program

This course and the ITF+ certification are designed as the starting point for a career in IT support.

NCCER Welding Program

This course includes various subjects instrumental in obtaining an entry-level welding position.

CNC Technology Program

This course was designed to teach and train individuals how to use a CNC machine to fabricate parts.

To be considered for any training program at the MRWTC, applicants must meet each of the following requirements. There are NO exceptions to this list;

The Value of these Classes

Trainees who successfully complete the MRWTC Programs will receive an MRWTC Certificate and will be the first to be selected for review by our partnering companies.

How can you attend a Class?

Available classes from the MRWTC can be found on the MRWTC page of the AIDT Careers Site.  Once you select a course to attend, you will need to complete the registration form. All registrants must meet all the requirements prior to being accepted.

Montgomery Regional Workforce Training Center(MRWTC) is a Workforce Development program. These training programs focus on stable job skills and/or a new career. Classes taken at the MRWTC are an exception to unemployment and will not affect an individual receiving unemployment.
